Mai Hongjun was born in Boai county,Henan province in 1969.He was enrolled into Department of Fine Arts of Minzu University of China in 1989 and the graduate assistants class of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1999.He has been devoted to creation and exploration of Chinese landscape painting for many years.His landscape painting integrates both North and South styles,inheriting the filled style of landscape painting of Northern School,at the same time,stressing on the traditions of free-style painting and features of the time.

More than 30 refined landscape,flower and calligraphy works of Mai Hongjun were exhibited on the exhibition.Mai Hongjun also had exchanges with peers in painting and calligraphy circle and art lovers in the exhibition hall.

Famous artist Mai Hongjun

Mai Hongjun is a full-time painter of Beijing Academy of Painting,a national Class A artist,and a member of Chinese Artists Association.His works used to join in national major art exhibitions like 9th National Art Exhibition,4th National Chinese Painting Exhibition,2nd Chinese Art Golden Color Award and Chinese Young and Middle-Aged Artists Session of 2nd Beijing International Art Biennial Exhibition.
